I am baffled by this site. How do you get through to ask for that 'Help Now'? I'm registered and logged in, but I can't find anything that puts me where I can actually click on a request for the help. I mistakenly clicked on one of the sponsoring ads, in my frustrated search, and now I'm getting calls from lawyers who want a retainer-and they have the information I gave this site.

This is one of the most frustration sites I've been on, and I can only find other beleaguered homeowners asking questions and answering each other. Where the hell are the 24/7 experts that are promised?

I've been in my home for 5 years and has never been late on the mortgage up until 3months ago. My wife and I are currently going through a nasty divorce. I decided to stay in the home since she was unable to afford it not realizing how difficult it would be with two mortgages. I've contacted several attornies in which all are asking for no less then $5,000.00 to help me with my situation. Hell, if I had that kind of money, I wouldn't be in the jam that I'm in. On top of that, I have a son in college who needs assistance and I was ordered to pay child support as well as allimony for the next few years. I'm desperately in need of some assistance. The bailout program was approved by the president, but the banks are not helping the situation by holding on to this money. I was told by my bank that I could pay the current mortgage amount plus partial the amount missed the last 3 months which will really hurt me. Especially dealing with my divorce attorney whom I'm having to pay to defend me.

Good luck on getting someone to reply. I've been looking to get a reply for a week.
