I would like to know if I can do a loan modification myself. I am very worried about all of these scams tthat companies are taking people who are getting ripped off for their money and losing their houses also. Who do I trust and are there companies that do Loan Modifications without an upfront fee? If I was to do the loan moddification myself is there somewhere I can get help on how to write up the proposal? e are 4 months behind on our payments and our payents are $3,900.00 interest rate is 8.5% and this is for a 2 bedroom house in Whittier CA.
