Hello Hello I am new around these parts but i do know a little something about the make home affordable mortgage refinance program that president Obama just modified as of yesterday. July 1.
The new Making Home Affordable Mortgage Refinance Plan has widdened the eligiabilty for the mortgage assistance program. Now a Homeowner can be considerably underwater as opposed to be fore when the Homeowner was only allowed to have a loan to value of 105% it has been raised to 125%. Nice.
However when talking to someone @ HopeNHousing.Org I overheard some skepticism on just how many lenders are going to be willing to finance these borrowers that are that fer under water. But just the same I am excited.
Thus far 200,000 American Homeowners have been able to refinnace under the Make Home Affordable Mortgage Refinance Plan. I am not exactly sure what the numbers are like in regards to the Loan Modification side of the make home affordable plan. There is some good info @
