I have been told by 2 different companies that I'm not eligible becuase I'm not behind on my mortgage. I have done everything I can to keep my mortgage current including falling behind on credit cards, taking out from my IRA (paid out the butt for that one!) and using the kids savings accounts. One guy told me that my efforts to stay current on my mortgage hurt me and that he's here to save my mortgage not my credit score.

Has anyone found help while current on payments?
