I have been in modification process since Jan 12 of 09 with the national loan help center who did charge me for services. I do know that they are in negoations because of letters from Wells Fargo, but so far it hasnt been much offer on their part, as the help Wells Fargo sent me a letter that blew me out of the water so riducolus no one could afford it.my sell date on my home is 4/16/09 and i am scared and dont know how to extend the sell date so i will have time needed to contact my congressman to step in what do you suggest???

My mortgage is thru wells fargo. I also have been told that i have qaualified for the hope for homeowners program they are just wating on a settlement from the government to know what the best benefits are. my mortgage company wells fargo is who put me thru to hope for home owners the paperwork i get from the program is on their letterhead, then i get a letter from an attny office representing my mortgage company sayting that my home is goning or forclosesure sale on april 27. i call the hope for homeowners contact and was informed that they had a date of may 4 or 5th and that they would be contacting the attny office (theirs ) that i was in the program and the sale would be post poned. i am scared to death too, the rep said no one was taking my home but who knows / i realy think that they should be able to stop or control those letters
