mortgage company foreclosed april 6th -and sent me letter dated march 30, wanting to know if i wanted to apply for a modification, my question is if i owe 130000 on first mortgage and at least 28000 on home equity loan- with home state qualized value of 67300, plus my soon to be ex wife is on both loans and we are supposed to file bankruptcy together before divorce is final- she moved out last october and lost her job and i want to try and keep home because we share joint physical custody of our son and we have alot of credit card debt to write off- are my chances slim to none to get a lower pyt? pyt was $1165 @ 6.375 and paid it ontime for 5 years -
