What if your lender is not listed?

Current lenders???? This is what you call current lenders??? Of the 5 calls we've made, 2 did not answer their phone, one was a recording, one did NOT know of the program and the other was not willing to work with us.. Some kind of lenders!!!!

Well this is the list that HUD and FHA is putting out. They also state that it is being updated daily. If you lender is not listed contact them anyway to discuss the program.

The reason they aren't helping you is because the h4h program isn't available yet. I went through the same thing until I called JP Morgan to see if they are a FHA approved lender, which they are. My morgage is through WaMu and they were bought out by JP Morgan and since WaMu dosen't know what they are talking about I called the other.
I spoke to a man named Randy, which he gave me his direct phone number (already received points for that) but he told me that the program isn't ready yet because they haven't set the guide lines for how its going to work. Don't go through someone that wants to charge you a ton of money! Your bank my not agree to do the h4h and your out the money. We have to wait to see what happens and hopefully they will get this thing going.
