I have been a month behind on my mortgage for almost a year due to a layoff and just couldn't get the $ together this month, so I am now over 60 days behind.
If I don't have a job, can I qualify for anything? I have a Fannie Mae loan.
Also I wanted to find out if anyone knew what the formulas were for the lenders making these types of decisions so I can figure out how much I need to make in order to avail myself of the plan. (I am hopeful every day that I will get a job--but can I qualify on $8 or $10 an hour for a $1200+ mortgage?
