Hi, My wife and I have good jobs with the United States Postal Service. As every other industry the Postal Service has reduced work hours to compensate for the lower mail volumes. She has currently lost 600 to 800 dollars monthly and I am no longer working any overtime to make up for the short fall. We applied for help under the Obama mortgage relief plan and was denied help because neither of us have lost our jobs so we make to much money. This doesn't change the fact that we are 3-4 months behind on payments. We can make regular payments but since we are behind Everhome mortgage wanted 1800 monthly instead of the 1100 we are used to paying. Is there any help available for people who can pay their payments?? We have been put on a 6 months forbearance but in 6 months we will have 6 payments due. Please Help!!
